We’ll talk about your pet’s personality, and whether they may be nervous or uncomfortable in the studio. The studio gives us a nice undisturbed environment so is usually the easiest, but weather permitting we can arrange to do the shoot in a nice outdoors location or we can come to you, whichever will be best for the pet and best for the images you are looking to end up with.
The day before the shoot
We will send you a text reminder to check everything’s OK, and send you a few hints and tips to help the shoot run more smoothly.
On the day of the shoot
We’ll start off with a chat over coffee whilst we all relax and let your pet have a good sniff around to make sure they’re completely at ease. We have plenty of free parking and a large outdoor area with lots of space for your pet to relieve themselves before coming inside! We will gradually introduce them to the studio environment, and make sure that they are comfortable being there. We have a range of treats and toys to use, but if your pet has some favourites please feel free to bring them along! Most single-pet shoots take around an hour, sometimes longer if we are dealing with a nervous pet that takes a while to settle, but we always allow plenty of extra time so there’s no pressure on you or your pet.
After the shoot
Approximately 1 week after the shoot we’ll contact you and invite you back into the studio for the ‘reveal’ where we show you the finished images on our big screen.
As part of our standard package you will receive a beautiful ‘Triplex’ linen finish binder featuring your three favourite shots from the day, alternatively you can browse our range of framing options on display in the studio and choose something to really make a statement on the walls of your home or office!
